To Post or Not To Post: It’s Political

I know it sucks sometimes to get on social media and see nothing but politics, news about COVID, and any number of impending elections. I get it. I've had a few people "joke" with me lately ... "Why do you always have to post about politics and social issues?"

Here's my reply: First of all, I don't. Secondly, there is too much at stake for any of us to be silent. So, vote. Stay involved, even when it's hard. Take a break when you need to, but get back in the game.

Have the difficult conversations, do the research on issues from multiple and credible sources so you'll know the facts, and don't turn away. Let's love each other, raise each other up, and vote for candidates who are community-minded and driven by justice and equality for all.

Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Refreshments are now served.
